Hannah Hartman

Community Relations/Account Executive

A local girl born and raised in Tuscarawas County, Hannah is a 2005 graduate of Dover High School. While at dear ol’ Dover High, Hannah also attended Kent State Tuscarawas as a post-secondary student, and she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in 2006. Hannah then transferred to the main campus of Kent State University where she majored in Communication Studies and minored in Advertising. As part of her course requirements, Hannah completed an internship at WJER Radio. She graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University in 2008. After graduation, Hannah was offered a position at WJER and has been a happy employee ever since.

Hannah finds a certain amount of irony in the fact that she landed a job in radio. Throughout her education, she often had no idea what she wanted to do when she grew up, but she always loved music – she took piano lessons as a kid, played the cello and steel drums in high school, was a member of the high school show choir, and participated in several musicals. Working at WJER allows Hannah to stay in touch with her musical roots during the workday, which she finds incredibly satisfying.

And when the workday is done, Hannah keeps things musical by playing in the local band Kodachrome Babies. You can find out more at
