Anita is a 1985 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. She graduated from The University of Akron School of Fine & Applied Arts with a BA in Communication/Radio & TV Production and a Master of Arts in Communication. She absolutely loves working in RADIO, and has been a voice on WJER for over 15 years. Anita also teaches Communication classes at Kent State University, Tuscarawas Campus.

Prior to joining WJER, she was on the air with WZIP in Akron and also worked at Huntington Bank. In addition to living here in the Tuscarawas Valley, Anita has also lived in Germany and Kansas. Her hobbies include playing her guitar, caring for her two dogs, Max & Mojo, and learning everything she could from broadcast legend and mentor, Dick Hanchette. The best experience of her career? Meeting Ken Burns and also broadcasting from the Alan Freed Studio at the Rock & Roll HOF in Cleveland during WJER's annual January trek to the area Halls of Fame.
